The new Moorooka kindy has landed!
A flying start for Queensland children
The new C&K kindergarten onsite at Moorooka State School went one step closer to completion with the landing of the prefabricated building on Thursday 17 December 2009.
C&K ceo Barrie Elvish said the establishment of additional kindergarten services like Moorooka will go a long way to giving Queensland children the best start in life.
"Queensland's kindergarten participation rates are significantly lower than other states and territories, so we welcome our partnership with the State Government to address this issue," Mr Elvish said.
"The Moorooka kindergarten will cater for up to 44 kindy-age children who may not have otherwise had the chance to participate in a kindergarten program prior to starting Prep. We welcome parents and members of the community to make enquiries for this brand new kindergarten” he said.
